Saving my skin with Liz Earle products

Graduate stress, job hunting, changes in weather- these have all been enough to irritate my skin.

For the first time in my life, at the age of 23 I have been suffering from acne. Not only is this quite detrimental to my self-esteem, I worry that this skin condition will leave me with scars.

I started using Liz Earle products at the age of 12 under the guidance of my mother who swears by her range. I will listen to anything my mum says when it comes to skin; at the age of 56 she has the healthiest, glowing skin and not a single wrinkle in sight-as is the case with her entire family. Definitely good genes. She also doesn’t drink much, is pescatarian and swears by drinking water all day every day, which has definitely aided her good skin.

Over the years I have tried out so many facial regimes from Neutrogena to Clinique and random beauty store ones. No other ranges restore my skin to its healthy state like Liz Earle’s.

Liz Earle

Beauty editor, author and TV Presenter Liz Earle founded the range in 1995 and established it as a brand with her best friend Kim Buckland. An Eczema sufferer herself, Liz realised there was a niche in the market for a skincare range that uses natural ingredients to target skin conditions such as Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne and Cellulite. Liz is a specialist in botanical ingredients, natural health and well being. Liz Earle HQ based on the Isle of Wight, is in an eco-building which generates its own energy. With a small staff of 30, excellent customer service on a personal level is guaranteed.

Her philosophy for healthy skin is to Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise-one that I have been brought up firmly believing in.

As soon as my skin worsened I logged on to her website: and ordered myself the Healthy, Beautiful Skin Kit:

£31.00 from Comes in a neat wash bag and with a Muslin cloth for hot cloth treatment.

As well as some Intensive Nourishing Treatment as a weekly face mask:

While my mother ordered some Brightening Treatment Mask to maintain her smooth skin:

£14.25 (Not suitable for sensitive skin)

A week after using her products I can safely say that my acne has gone down! It has completely disappeared on one side of my face and decreased significantly on the other. Her products have also alleviated dark spots on my cheeks and there is no sign of scarring.

TIP: For spot prone skin such as my own I would recommend ordering the Healthy, Beautiful Skin Kit in ‘Normal/Combination’ for best results. Trust me on this one.

Liz Earle also has a Men’s range and some October offers on, including complimentary Superskin Concentrate (worth £19.75) which is a fantastic quick fix for blemishes and spots, when you order her October skincare essentials regime at £41.00-excellent value for money as you get a lot of natural product for what you pay.

If you have any skin conditions causing you grief, look no further than this skincare range which boasts natural ingredients and guaranteed results.
